Brian Keith Teal

Brian Keith Teal, 63, of Smithfield, VA was born in High Point, NC on January 27, 1960.  He died on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Riverside Regional Medical Center.  Brian grew up in the High Point/Archdale area where he was active in music and theater.  After attending Catawba College, he worked in the furniture business for many years in both sales and store management.  In 1998, his job in furniture moved him to coastal Virginia.  He spent several years as a Docent at the Virginia Air & Space Center.  He loved to go to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) and race cars.  He was active with the Smithfield Little Theater (SLT) and was well known for his comedic talents.  He dearly loved his family, friends, dogs and SLT family.  Brian’s personality could light up a stage and his charm could warm your heart.  He will be missed by all theatre goers, friends, and family.

Brian was preceded in death by his Father, William Teal, his Mother, Judy Clodfelter Kennedy & his Step-Father, Charles Kennedy.  Brian is survived by his wife of 30 years, Leslie, Half-Sister Sherri Soles, Mother-in-Law Judie Sorensen, Brother-in-Law Greg (Michelle) Sorensen and many cousins and close friends.
