On September 14, 2021, Willis Page Hudson passed away at Magnolia Manor Rehab, where he was recovering from a stroke. He was born in LaCrosse, VA, in his grandparents’ home. He was the son of the late Johnny D. Hudson and Henrietta R. Morris-Hudson and was their only child. Willis was employed by “Red” at Reds Pier, Newport News Shipbuilding when he was in school, and after that he went into the United State Air Force, serving in Vietnam. He had over 20 years of service when he retired in 1973. He continued his career as an Electrician at NNS, and then to Civil Service, at Norfolk Naval Air Station until he retired. Willis met his wife, Liliane when he was stationed in France. They were married and had their first child, Roberta. They came back to the United States, when they had their second child, Victoria. He enjoyed football and loved to eat out, his favorite place to eat was Red Lobster. He loved to try to teach people French. He lived in the Hampton Roads area for many years before moving back to his place of birth. Willis was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Liliane Ruppert Hudson. He is survived by his daughters, Roberta Faulk and her husband Jeffrey Faulk, Victoria Anand (aka TQ), grandson, Jonathan Anand and many cousins. A special thank you to his cousin Graham and Doris Morris for looking out and helping him. He will be missed by many.
