Willie Obera Gay, Jr

Willie Obera Gay, Jr, 71, of Windsor, VA passed away on November 17, 2020 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Willie Obera Gay, Sr. and Emily Mattie Edwards Gay.  He is survived by his sisters, Virginia Gay, Mildred Jean Shumaker (Leroy), Barbara Insley, Deborah Palmer and Janet Luedtke (Kurt); and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Allen Gay.  Bobby Gay proudly served four years in the US. Navy after leaving the Navy, he returned to Isle of Wight County, where he farmed his entire life.  He was a good-hearted person, always with a positive outlook on life, he loved to share and spend time with is family. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and playing horseshoes. He will be truly missed by all of those who knew him.  A private service will be held at the Albert G Horton Veterans Cemetery.
