William Benjamin Edwards

William Benjamin Edwards, 89, passed away peacefully in Surry, VA on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He was a devoted husband, father, and proudly served in US Army during the Korean War.
William is preceded in death by his devoted wife Sybil Davis Edwards; his parents Willie and Jewel Edwards; and sons William B. (Steve) Edwards Jr. and Scott Pepper. He leaves behind a legacy of honor, kindness, and strength. His warm smile, wise words, and tender heart will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In his well-deserved retirement, William found joy and fulfillment in the company of his beloved family. He is survived by his daughter Doris Marie Edwards; sons Jeffrey S. Edwards, John K. Edwards Sr. (Frances), Don R. Edwards (Jennifer), Daniel R. Edwards, Robert Warren, Jerry Davis, and Chris Davis; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at his residence. In lieu of flowers, please donate to American Cancer Research in his memory.
