William "Bill" Ray Begley

William “Bill” Begley, 57, of Big Stone Gap, VA, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. He was the son of the late George Walter Begley and Mary Caroline Chandler Begley. Bill is survived by his daughters, Paige Nicole Begley (Skylar) and Summer Lynn Corbett (Kyle); sisters, Bobbie Rash, Claire Begley, and Judy Young (Marty); brothers, Tim Begley (Linda), Jase Begley and Ewing Begley (Fran); love of his life, Susan Begley; and too many other family members and close friends to mention (we’d be here all day). He was preceded in death by a sister, Jan Begley; and his brothers, Hick, Walter, Mike, Boose, Earl and Dave Begley.

Bill Begley, AKA Daddy, Daddio, Pops, Wild Bill, Billy Bob, and Billy Goat was a true gift to us all. He lived his life to the fullest ensuring everyone around him always had a smile on their face. He was an amazing father, friend, husband, and protector. Bill loved spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and piddling with whatever he could get his hands on. He touched and enriched all our lives in so many ways. He was so dearly loved, and he truly loved us all. Bill will be greatly missed. Dammit Boy, we’ll see you in a day or so.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Cedar Ridge Freewill Baptist Church, in the Crackers Neck Community of Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
