William Francis Ashley, Sr

William Francis Ashley, Sr. 63, of Windsor passed away on May 4,2019.  He was the son of James E. Ashley, Sr and the late Sue M. Rountree.  He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Anne Fish Ashley; sons, William Francis Ashley, Jr, (Kelly), Justin Carroll Ashley (Alexandra) and Nathan Brook O’Berry (Christina); grandchildren, Hope, Keira and Vada, sister, Janet A. Spencer (Andy), brothers, James E. Ashley, Jr., Tommy Rountree (Melissa) and Bobby Rountree (Valerie), step mother, Virginia Ashley and step father, Henry Rountree.  Billy was a wonderful family man, who was always willing to help others, he loved farming and working with his family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2019 at 3 p.m. in Central Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.  In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to https://www.gofundme.com/billy039s-medical-bills-and-funeral-arrangements .  Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
