Walter Timothy Saunders

Walter Timothy Saunders “Tool Man Tim”, 66, of Carrollton, Virginia entered eternal rest on December 21, 2021.  Tim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Catherine, son, Timothy Saunders, daughter, Lora Arthur (Henry) grandsons Brayson, Ben, Arthur and Sawyer, brother Arthur Saunders Jr. (Gerry), sisters Paulette Smith (Mike) and Lineta Witherow as well as 7 nieces and nephews, and countless friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Saunders Sr. and his mother Ida Anderson.  In life, Tim was the kind of man that would help whoever he could, however he could, wherever he could.  His greatest joys were his four grandsons and being out on the water.  He will forever be a beloved husband, father, granddaddy, brother, son, uncle and friend to all those that were fortunate enough to know him. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 2 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow on the Latimer Farm Cemetery, Carrollton, VA.
