Timothy Lynn Shumaker

Timothy Lynn Shumaker, 56, of Carrsville, passed away on April 5, 2019 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.  He was the son of the late Oden Dale Shumaker and Kathern May Mitchell Shumaker.  He is survived by his wife Krista Renee Shumaker; daughter, Vicky Renee Connor(Dustin); sisters, Barbara Shumaker and Patty Coleman (Emanuel); brother, Mike Shumaker (Amy); nieces and nephews, Jennifer Stoufffer (Mike Everett), Emanuel “Budd” Coleman, III (Kayla), Josh Hill (Ashley), Mark Shumaker (Megan Kime), Ryan Shumaker and Mary Ann Landis (Jason Siefert); great nieces and nephews, Travis Thomas, Alayleiah and Heaven Coleman, and Carter Siefert; and numerous aunts and uncles.  Mr. Shumaker was a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Army and then served in Virginia National Guard until his retirement in 2015.  He was member of the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department in Jerome, PA.  He was a life member of the Smithfield VFW Post 8545.  Mr. Shumaker had worked with SPSA as a mechanic for the past 21 years.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, 2 p.m. with full military honors, at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
