After serving his country, he took a position with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was promoted during that time to Quality Assurance Inspector. Tim also proudly served the VFW as a trustee. He had also recently renewed his faith and begun attending services at Smithfield Christian Church with his children. Tim was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. He is predeceased by his father, Julius Munford, and his brother, John Munford. He is survived by his wife, Jessica, and his children, Shyanne, Carter, and Kaleb. He is also survived by his mother, Tammy Munford, his brother, Chris Munford, many other family members and friends, as well as his best friends, Chevelle and Julio. Rest in peace, Tim. We love you, we miss you, and we will all be together again one day. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
