It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Timothy D. Keegan, 60, of Corning, New York. Timothy, a child of God and man of unwavering faith, passed from this earth into Heaven’s gates on April 28, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Timothy was a loving father, cherished grandfather, beloved brother and son to the late James and Marion Keegan. His unwavering devotion to helping others was evident in all he did, and his presence brought light and joy to those around him.
A man of faith and service, Timothy’s love for Jesus shone brightly in all aspects of his life. His dedication to serving others, both through his service in the Air Force and his ministry work, touched countless lives and inspired those around him to live with purpose and compassion. His passion for helping others navigate their struggles with grace and empathy was a testament to his faith and his deep commitment to making the world a better place. His legacy of love, service, and compassion will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
In addition to his service and ministry work, Timothy found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. He found peace in the great outdoors, whether hunting in the quiet stillness of the woods, casting his line into the waters of his favorite lake, riding his bike or his motorcycle and playing like “a big kid” with his treasured grandchildren.
Timothy is survived by his loving children Christan (Jeremy) Weflen and Justin (Patience) Keegan, his adoring grandchildren Chase and Conner Weflen and, Kaden and Madilyn Keegan. Tim was also survived by his siblings Hope (Terry) Johnson, Jim (Cathy) Keegan, Jenny Worthington, Brian Keegan, Mike (Brenda) Keegan and Sean (Teresa) Keegan along with a host of family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts always.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9th at Healing Waters Worship Center in Carrollton, VA from 10:00-11:15 am; followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:30 and burial at Albert G. Horton, Jr Memorial Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Timothy, you were a light in our lives, and though we must now say goodbye, your spirit will never dim.
