T. Wayne Griffin

Wayne Griffin passed away in his home of over 30 years in Surry, Virginia on July 10, 2020. Wayne retired from Dominion Energy with almost 20 years of service. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Griffin and father, Coleman Wilson Griffin of Westminster, South Carolina. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Griffin and sisters, Edna Mace, Millie Krohnfeldt and Bobby Joe Swafford. Wayne leaves behind his daughter, Mary Barter (Donald); grandson, Wyatt Griffin; brothers, Allen Griffin (Joyce), Ricky Griffin (Judy), Tommy Griffin (Kay); and sisters, Wilma Vermillion (Billy), Jackie Carver (Layne), Kaye Holbrooks (Ronnie Cumbow) and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was a friend to many. Per his request there will be a memorial service held at a later date in his home town of Westminster, SC.
