Stephen Jacob King

Stephen Jacob King, 57, of Smithfield, VA passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022.  He was the son of the late Harold Joseph King, Sr and Shelby Jean Williams King.  He survived by his wife Helen Jean King; son, Christopher King; daughters, Krystal King, Christina Canavan (Wade), Stephanie Canavan (Patrick), Frances Canavan (Chris) and Lauren Vaughan (Ian); grandchildren, Parker, Anthony, Mary, Ava, Olivia, Ryleigh, Bryson, Seth, Jade, Summer, Kai, Alexander, Annabella and Patrick; brothers, Douglas Arthur King (Becky) and Barry Lee King (Glenda); and his beloved dog Daisy Mae.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Keith William King and Joby King. Stephen retired from Dominion Energy.  He was proud of all his children and loved them and all his grandchildren.  He was a fan of Nascar and loved spending time working on vehicles.  Known as a kind and generous person he loved to spend time with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 5 p.m. at Littles Funeral Home, Smithfield.  The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
