Sherry Lynn Latimer Terry

Sherry Lynn Latimer Terry, 50, of Suffolk, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Cleveland Junious Latimer and Myrtle Mae Thompson Latimer.  Sherry is survived by her husband, William Allen Terry; daughters, Lauren Elizabeth Bridges (Chris Perkins) and Mackenzie Paige Terry; granddaughter, Adriel Hiles and she looked forward to the birth of her future granddaughter; sisters Debbie L. Boyd (David) and Rita L. Greiner (C.J.); brothers. Dennis Latimer (Tina), Travis Latimer (Wanda) and David Latimer (Angie); nieces, Courtney, Kacy; nephews, Joey, Steven, Blake, Richie and Landon.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers Darryl Latimer and Richard Latimer.  Sherry was a loving wife, exceptional mother, and friend, who always put her family first. She loved her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Riverside Hospice, where she made a difference in the lives of many. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Smithfield Baptist Church with burial to follow in St. Luke’s Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Smithfield Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an educational account being set up for her daughter, Mackenzie Terry,  c/o Debbie Boyd, P O 59 Smithfield, VA 23431, checks may be written to Mackenzie Terry.
