Saundra Spaulding Rainey

Saundra Spaulding Rainey of Smithfield passed away December 17th, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Thelma Spaulding.

She is survived by her sons Montage Rainey (Leanne) and Howard Rainey III (Sheena); Sister Laverne Hill; Brother Tony Spaulding (Sand); and grandchildren Jada, Paige, Tatum, Landan, Joshua, and Noah; and several nieces and nephews.

Saundra was a retired school administrator for Hampton City Schools and also taught PE for several years. She was a member of Heart and Hands Community Church located in Newport News, Virginia.

A memorial service in Saundra’s Honor will be held on January 3, 2026 at 2:00pm at Little’s Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Smithfield.
