Sandra Lee Gwaltney, 75, of Surry, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was the daughter of the late John Sluganski and Della Snyder Sluganski. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 19 years, Ronald Ashton Gwaltney. She is survived by her daughter, Della G. Wiedel (Jason); son, Ronald Ashton Gwaltney, Jr (Kathy); and sister Patsy Maleski.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA with burial to follow with military honors at Oakwood Cemetery, Surry, VA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
