S. T. Stanley, Jr, “Woofa”, 67 of Smithfield passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side. S.T. was born in Franklin, VA to the late Shirley Thomas Stanley, Sr. and Elizabeth Elenore Fowler Stanley. He was a retired painter, loving husband and father, who enjoyed fishing with his daughters and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Mary Katherine Williams Stanley, two daughters Kathy Lynn Martin (Brian), Patricia Lynn Widener (Jamie). Eight grandchildren Brian”Booboo”, Shanea, Joshua, Miranda, Colton, Jamie “Leigh”, Cassie and Tyler. Four great grandchildren Trey, Alayna, Nathan and James.
