Ryan Hunter Odom

On September 1, 2019, Ryan Hunter Odom, 34 passed to our Lord in Heaven. Ryan was a native of Smithfield, VA, and was a resident of Suffolk, VA.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ferrum College in VA. Ryan was gifted in art and music. He enjoyed playing his guitar, drums, piano, singing and he loved his two cats, Avery and Felix.  Ryan is survived by his parents, Larry and Marsha Odom; a brother, Justin (Vicky); and a nephew, Andrew, all of Smithfield, VA; and his grandmother, Ada Beaher Odom of New Madrid, Missouri.  Ryan loved to laugh and had a big heart.  He enjoyed helping others.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September, 5, 2019, 2 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private in St. Luke’s Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Isle of Wight Humane Society, www.iowchs.org, Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
