Ronald Wayne Edwards

Ronald Wayne Edwards, 59. of Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  He was the son of the late Margaret Leigh Edwards.  He is survived by his aunt Barbara Jean Edwards.  Known as “Fat Boy” to those close to him.  He was a life long member of Smithfield Hunt Club, where he spent many hours in the woods with his family and friends.  He also loved boating, fishing and spending time with his family. He worked for Isle of Wight County for 30 years, retiring as a Refuse and Recycling location attendant.   A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Smithfield.   The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.
