Roger Dale Armstrong, Sr.

Roger Dale Armstrong, Sr. 82, of Carrollton passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. He was the son of the late Gilbert L. Armstrong and Hazel Jackson Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eva M. Armstrong; daughter, Denise Fields Burton; sons, Dennis E. Fields, Sr. (Teresa), Roger Dale Armstrong, Jr.; grandchildren, Kristin, Lauren, Angie, Dennis II, Alexis, Brady, Cody, Dustin and Brett; sister, Jane Collins; brothers, Randy Armstrong and Gilbert Armstrong, Jr. He was also preceded in death by a son, James Douglas Fields. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He worked at NNS for 30 years. He enjoyed watching Nascar and spending time with his family.
