Robert Gene Wilkinson

Robert Gene Wilkinson, 58, of Carrollton, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. He was the son of Freda Mae Cochran Wilkinson and the late John Albert Wilkinson, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha N. Wilkinson; son, Robert K. Wilkinson; brothers, Steven Lynn Wilkinson (Linda Faye), Donald Craig Wilkinson (Rose Mary Macy) and John Albert Wilkinson (Kristal Joy); and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was known and loved for his playful sense of humor, quiet introspection, and openhearted nature. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing with friends, classic muscle cars, time with family, and being a father.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, 3 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, Va. The family will receive friends following the service.
