Robert Malcolmn Finley

Robert M. Finley passed away March 4, 2020.  Robert was born in Suffolk, VA on May 6^th, 1953.  He was retired from Newport News Shipbuilding and was a life member of the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department and the Isle of Wight volunteer Rescue Squad.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Smithfield, VA. Robert was predeceased by his parents, S.H. “Jack” Finley and Helen M. Finley.  He is survived by his sister Patricia F. Spivey (Ronald) and nieces Meredith Parks (Stuart) and Amanda Rogers (Jeremy).  Services and burial will be private.  For anyone who wishes to make memorial donations, the family suggests Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 Cedar St. Smithfield, VA  23430; Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department, 1804 S.
