Robert "Bob" Eugene Dubinsky

Robert “Bob” Eugene Dubinsky, 63, of Smithfield passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.  Bob was a graduate of North Pocono High School and Penn State.  He was an Electrical Designer at Newport News Shipbuilding for 42 years.  Bob was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, neighbor and friend.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.  Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Dubinsky.  He is survived by his father Eugene Dubinsky of Roaring Brook Twp, PA; his wife of 35 years Betty; son, Mike (Marina) of Ashburn, VA, daughter Mandy (Eric) of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Barbara (Ed) Steinmetz of Roaring Brook Twp, PA and Laura (Joe) Finn of Kennett Square, PA; brother, Pete (Denise) Dubinsky of Clifton, N.J.; and a host of extended family.  A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, November 12, 2022, 2 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, Smithfield.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Christian Outreach Program www.iowcop.net or Christ Episcopal Church Preservation Fund, 111 S Church St, Smithfield, VA 23430.
