Richard Allan Huebner

Richard “Rich” Allan Huebner, 78, of Smithfield passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  Rich was born to the late Robert and Alice Huebner. He served proudly in the U S Navy for 23 years, following retirement he worked for Dominion Energy for nearly 20 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Newport News and the American Legion Post 49 in Smithfield. Rich is survived by his wife of 52 years Patricia Marie Hirsch Huebner, daughter Tamara “Tammy” Clark, son Brian Huebner, grandchildren Rachael, Cory and Ashley, his sister Janice and sister in law Pamela. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.
