Raymond Ray Norris

Raymond Ray Norris passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2023, in Windsor, Virginia. He was born on October 7, 1933 to Lee Barry Norris and Annie Mae Britt Norris. Raymond brought light and joy to the lives of those who had the honor of knowing him.

Raymond served his country with great pride and commitment as a member of the U.S. Air Force in the C-130 crew. His dedication to defending his country was unwavering.

Raymond is survived by his son William Norris and daughter Melanie Reynolds, both of whom were a source of immense pride for him.

Close friends of Raymond's who brought him much happiness were Catherine and Ricky Pond. Their friendship was filled with countless shared experiences and laughter.

Raymond Ray Norris leaves behind a lasting impact on all those fortunate enough to have known him. His indomitable spirit and kind heart will serve as an inspiration for generations to come.

A visitation will be held from 11am – 12pm on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield. A graveside service will be held at 1pm after the visitation at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery.
