Ray Harrington

Ray Harrington, 61, of Smithfield, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. He was the son of Barbara Ann Shepard and the late Clarence “Buddy” Mason Harrington. He is also survived by his brothers, Donnie Harrington, Joseph Tillman (Deb) and Edward Tillman (Cat); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ray was a commercial fisherman, who loved the water and fishing. He was an avid hunter and loved his yard and gardening. He also loved to cook, his favorite being beans and bacon.

He was loved and will be forever missed, and he has now found peace.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
