Patricia Ann Gregory

Patricia Ann Gregory, 93, of Portsmouth, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Russell Howard Hood and Marie McDonald Hood. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William Bernard Gregory. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Gregory Pitt (Lawrence); son, Bill Gregory; grandchildren, Courtney Petley (Jon) and Stephen Christie (Kristen); great grandchildren, Adalyn, Lylah, and Kayleigh Christie; a sister, Carolyn Hood Campbell; and a sister-in-law, Irene Hood; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt that will be greatly missed. She excelled in all of her roles in life and was a great role model for all of her family to follow.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 11 a.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, Va with burial to follow in St. Luke’s Memorial Park Cemetery. The family offers many thanks to the staff at Riverside Healthy Living Smithfield and Riverside Hospice for their guidance and kindness.
