Patricia Hoffner Fabel

Patricia Jane Hoffner Fabel, 85, of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Asa Hoffner and Minnie Frable Hoffner.  Mrs. Fabel was survived by her daughter, Amy Knecht; son, Todd Rauchenberger (Janice); grandchildren, Felica Knecht, Eric Rauchenberger and Matthew Rauchenberger; great granddaughter, Erica Miller; and her beloved dog, Buddy.  Mrs. Fabel was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Rauchenberger; son, Randy Rauchenberger; daughter, Susan Miller; grandchildren, Barry Miller and Christopher Knecht. She was member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg, PA, she was an avid golfer, seamstress and loved to dance with her husband.  She was loved by her family and friends and enjoyed life. After the death of Alden, she married Richard G. Fabel, who also preceded her in death. The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolia Manor in Smithfield and Riverside Hospice for their compassionate care.  A private family service will be held at Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg, PA.
