Norman Warren Kramer

Norman Kramer, 78, of Smithfield, VA passed peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2019. Born November 4, 1940, in Washington, DC to the late James SC Kramer and Emma Rachel Kramer. Norman was a retired Master Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, where he proudly served in Vietnam, followed by 10 years as a Logistician at the Newport News Shipyard. He was devoted to his family, friends and church. Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Kramer of 57 years, his 3 sons and their wives David and Deborah Kramer, Christopher and Cassandra Kramer, and Kevin and Bandi Kramer, his daughter Janine and husband Jason Swiney; 10 grandchildren Tami, Meghan, Sarah, Evan, Dawson, Scott, Alex, Natasha, Makayla, and AJ; 5 great grandchildren McKayla, Giuliana, Charlotte, Carter and Kolton. Norman is survived by his brother, Arthur Sydney (Pat) and his wife Patricia, and predeceased by his 3 brothers James, George and Thomas. The family will receive friends at the Smithfield Christian Church, 18420 Battery Park Rd, Smithfield, VA, 23430. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at noon, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Smithfield Christian Church, 18420 Battery Park Rd, Smithfield, VA 23430. Burial will follow at Albert G Horton Veterans Cemetery at 3 p.m. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
