Noel Brice Cassell, II

Noel “Brice” Cassell, 65, of Windsor, VA passed away on June 10, 2026, at his home with his devoted partner Sherry by his side. Brice was born in Newport News, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Cassell and Janet Fay Banks Boyd. He spent many years living in Florida where he developed close and lasting friendships that continue to this day. He leaves behind one daughter, Tina Lee Cassell, plus many family members and dear friends throughout Virginia, Florida, North Carolina and beyond.

Brice lived life on his own terms and he never met a stranger. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was never happier than when he was on the water or in the woods. He was awarded Rookie of the Year at Saluda, VA Raceway in 1981 and carried that love of all things cars, mechanics and racing throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 2 to 5 pm at the Women’s Club of Hilton Village in Newport News.

Brice had a special affinity for all animals. In Brice’s memory please consider a donation to your local SPCA or animal rescue.
