Nicolas Ryan Perkins

Nicolas Ryan Perkins, 37, of Arlington, Va, passed away on April 8, 2020. He was the son of Karen Downing Perkins of San Antonio, Texas and Newton Ray Perkins, Jr. of North Carolina. Nic is survived by his sister, Kelley Morgan Jenkins (Brandon) of Mechanicsville and their daughters, Hallie and Addison; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Downing, of Smithfield; and paternal grandfather, Newton Ray Perkins, Sr. of Hampton. He was a 2000 graduate of Kecoughtan High School. Nic was an Army Veteran and a barber by trade. He had a great sense of humor, loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed playing the drums. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 from two to five p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA. Funeral services will be private.
