Nancy M Cundiff

Due to a sudden decline in health, Mrs. Nancy M. Cundiff, 66, of Carrollton, VA passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Norfolk General Hospital.  Nancy was born October 30, 1951 in Connecticut to the late Louis Maheu and Catherine Maheu Getzinger.  Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Daniel N. Cundiff, and a son, Lou Maheu of Newport News.  Other survivors include her in-laws, Penny and Buddy Hubbard of Danville; a long-time friend, Joan Perry of Connecticut; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her brother, Danny Maheu, of Connecticut.  Nancy was an avid reader and animal lover.  Prior to her decline in health, she loved cooking and traveling.  She previously worked in nursing home administration and postal service.  Nancy retired in 2010 for medical reasons.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
