Mildred "Polly" Pauline Roche

Mildred Pauline “Polly” Barlowe Roche, 96, of Newport News, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.  She was the daughter of Charles Maynard Barlowe and Martha Gertrude Caish Barlowe.  Mrs. Roche is survived by her daughters, Sandra J. Nelson (Gordon), Cindy Duck and Debbie Miller (Greg); grandchildren, Lisa Jones, Tommy Nelson, Christy West, Mathew Miller, Meredith Crouse, Jared Miller and Jenny Miller; great grandchildren, Caroline, Evan, Quinn and Elijah.  Mrs. Roche loved to travel, she loved to cruise, and saw most every part of Europe and Asia.  She was an avid ballroom dancer and bridge player. She loved visiting her grandchildren and spending time with family. A graveside service will be held, Saturday, October 23, 2021, 11 a.m. in Mill Swamp Cemetery.
