Michael Clinton Newsome

Michael Clinton Newsome, 53, of Smithfield, passed away on August 19, 2020. He was the son of Betty Jean Farley Newsome and the late Clinton Burwell Newsome. He is survived by his wife Kimberlee Ann Turner Newsome; son, Vann Clinton Newsome; daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Jean Newsome; sister, Pamela Edmund; nephew Jonathan Hubert Edmund. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home. A private memorial will be held prior to the visitation. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 97, Smithfield, VA 23431.
