Michael Chase Bell

Michael Chase Bell, 18 of Smithfield found peace on January 17, 2018 at UVA Medical Center with his family by his side. Chase is a graduate of Smithfield High School, class of 2017. He is known to be charismatic, kind, selfless, and empathetic. He is treasured for his handsome smile and uplifting wit. He loved playing video games, cooking, playing poker, watching football and golf, fishing, and being with family. He is remembered and cherished by his devoted and loving parents Michael and Diane Bell, siblings Brandon Rhodes, Hollie Rhodes, and Hunter Bell, maternal grandparents Harry and Juanita Dixon, paternal grandparents Donald and Carolyn Bell, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Chase’s memory will be celebrated by friends, family, and the community on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Little’s Funeral Home in Smithfield at 2PM. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
