Mason Page Cook

Mason Page Cook, 82, of Ivor, passed away on January 1, 2024.  He was the son of the late Charlie Cook and Lizzie Mae Bradshaw Cook. 

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bernice Wells Cook; daughter, Brenda Kay Fields; a grandson, Frank Fields; and two brothers, Marvin Glenn Cook (Paullette) and Donald Cook (Janice).  He was also preceded in death by two sons, Mason P. Cook, Jr and Thomas Dale Cook.

He was a loving husband to his wife Bernice. Mason retired from Smithfield Packing where he worked in security for many years.  He loved the outdoors, spending time in his garden or on the water fishing.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, 1 p.m. at Mill Swamp Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.
