Mary McNeill Turner

Mary McNeill Turner, age 82, of Hayes, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

She graduated from Suffolk High School and Pan AM School of Business in Richmond, Virginia. Mary retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after years of working in the ESTD department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary McNeill, and brother Raymond McNeill. Left to cherish her memory are son Kevin Turner (Laura) and daughter Beverly Cottrell (John), grandchildren Brandy Swisher (Brian), Jennifer Cottrell, Mary Baker (Evan), Todd Turner (Stephanie) and Ryan Turner, and great grandchildren Dylan, Sophia, Emma, Liam, and Skye, to whom she was a loving Me-maw. She is also survived by her sister Sara Ware and sister-in-law Virginia McNeill.  

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at St. Luke’s Cemetery with a visitation on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Little’s Funeral Home from 6-7pm.
