Marsha McClelland Odom

Marsha McClelland Odom of Smithfield, VA passed away May 12, 2026. Marsha was a Wife, Mother, Grandmama, and music educator. She graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and received her Master’s Degree in Music Education from Old Dominion University. She taught in three area school systems and also led church choirs in three local areas. She loved her family and friends and Jesus Christ, our Savior and God our Father. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Larry Odom, son Ryan Odom, mother and father Elizabeth Moren McClelland and Edward Lee McClelland and brothers, Michael McClelland and Mark McClelland. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Justin Larry Odom (Vicky) and Grandson Andrew Justin Odom, extended family, friends and former students. The family would like to extend appreciation to the staff at Riverside’s The Garden.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, 2 p.m. at Trinity UMC with burial to follow in St. Luke’s Memorial Park. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com
