Marie Scott Delk

Marie Scott Delk, 87, of Suffolk, VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.  Mrs. Delk was the daughter of the late Richard Leslie Scott and Maxcine Hunter Scott.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Gwaltney Delk and a son, Richard “Ricky” Mathew Delk.  Mrs. Delk is survived by her daughter, Julie Renea Delk; grandchildren, Noah Hunter Delk and Christopher Mathew Delk; sister, Betty Scott; brother, Richard Scott; and daughter-in-law, Christine Hobbs Delk.   A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 10 a.m. in Mill Swamp Cemetery, Ivor, Va.
