Margaret Delores Melton

Margaret Delores Wagner Melton went to join her Momma and Daddy in her eternal home on Monday, April 22, 2019. 

Margaret was raised in Akron, Ohio until she joined the Woman’s Army Air Corp in 1959. PFC/E3 Melton was stationed at Fort Eustis, Virginia, where she met and married Wally Melton. They had one daughter, Melissa Diane Melton.  In 1989 her real calling in life began when her first grandchild was born. She was given the name “Famaw” and spent everyday making her three grand kids life special. Famaw never missed one sporting event, band performance, or graduation. She truly was the Worlds Greatest Grandma.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Wally Melton, daughter Melissa Melton Montgomery, her husband Mark Montgomery, and three beloved grandchildren and their spouses: Marcus and Candace Montgomery,Marguerite and Donald Williams, Montana Montgomery and fiancé Taylor Griffin. She also had 2 Great Grand children who she was absolutely smitten with: Liberty-Bella Williams, and Clint Easton Montgomery.

The family would love for you to join them Saturday, April 27th at 11:00am at their home church, Harvest Fellowship Baptist Church to celebrate Famaws wonderful life.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Harvest Fellowship Baptist Church, 19290 Battery Park Road.
