Margaret Volk Castner

Margaret Barbara Volk Castner, 78 of Smithfield passed away on June 11, 2018 with her family by her side.  Born in Boppard, Germany to the late Bernard and Barbara Anna Kloss Volk.  She retired from the Hampton Police Department where she worked many years as a school crossing guard.  Margaret is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years Phillip M. Castner, Sr; sons Phillip M. Castner, Jr. (Tammy) and Steven M. Castner; grandchildren Jessie Lee Castner and Jacob Michael Castner; sister Karen Geier Nohn.
