Louis Ammons Lindsey

Louis A. “Monk” Lindsey, 80 of Windsor passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his residence. Born in Gadsden, Alabama, “Monk” relocated to Virginia in the early 1960’s. He was the son of the late Guy Lindsey and Lela Bolton Lindsey. Monk was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Hughes Lindsey. Monk was a heavy equipment operator, he enjoyed life, was a fun loving person who will be missed by all. Monk is survived by his son Joseph Keith Lindsey, daughter Lisa Lindsey, sister Linda Lindsey Smith and her husband James Austin Smith, nephew Rick Smith and special lifelong friends Sam and Sissy Snead. And a brother in law Ron Hughes. A service in celebration of Monks life was held by the family in Windsor, Virginia
