Linda Carol Rowland

Linda Carol Tollison Rowland, 71, of Smithfield, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late David Joseph Tollison and Mildred Elizabeth Benson Tollison.  Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, James L. Rowland; sons, Larry Rowland (Michelle) and David Wayne Rowland (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brooke, Grayson, Reagan and Aiden; sister, Cindy T. Leggett. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Rice.  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and volunteered with Isle of Wight Christian Outreach.  She retired as the Vice President of Rowland Equipment.  She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren; they were the light of her life.  She loved to travel with her husband “Coochie”.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, 2 p.m. in St. Luke’s Memorial Park.
