Linda “Stink” Vaughan Frasher, 72, of Carrollton, VA passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Vaughan and Frances Virginia Sykes Vaughan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Frasher; and a brother, Ronnie Vaughan. She is survived by her son, Christopher D. Ford (April); granddaughter, McKinley Faith Simmons (Dylan); grandson, Nathan Gardner; brother, Frank Vaughan (Cindy); nephews, Clayton and Justin Vaughan; great nephew, Draven Vaughan; uncle, Buddy Sykes; aunt, Dylcie Daughtrey; her cat Precious; and her grand dog Bella.
Linda was a devoted Moma, Nana and cherished friend. She was a woman of very few words but one of a kind. She had a smile that would light up any room she entered. Throughout her life, Linda was a source of unwavering love, strength and guidance to her family and friends. She devoted 28 years to Riverside Health System as a Medical Records Clerk. Linda had many hobbies from cooking to collecting her favorite things. She spent many hours in the kitchen making her delicious recipes for the holidays. She also had a passion for crafting and decorating, which she enjoyed with great enthusiasm. Linda was well known for her talent and expertise when it came to decorating and will always be remembered by those who knew her best. To know her was to love her. She will be missed by many.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, 6 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
