Larry W Mizelle

Larry W Mizelle, 75, passed away on Friday February 11, 2022 in Windsor, VA.  Larry was born in Elizabeth City, NC on January 5, 1947.  He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Virginia Mizelle and sister-in-law Sandy Mizelle. He is survived by his wife Brita Mizelle, three sons, Justin and wife Susan, Reid and fiancé Taylor Strange, Parker and significant other Courtney Buchanan, bonus daughters, Jessica Birch and husband Bruce, Emily Flynn and husband Jason, six grandchildren and one brother David Mizelle.  During Larry’s life he was active in many service organizations.  He was a past member of the Peninsula Football Officials Association.  He played and coached fast pitch softball for many years.  He served as a Scout Master for Troop 25 for 10 years.  He will be missed by his wife and family.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org , Hospice of Virginia or any type of children’s sports program.
