Joshua Brian Sprague

Joshua Brian Sprague, 31, of Suffolk, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020.  He was the son of Sandra Lee Adams-Sprague Kessler and Bill Preston Kessler and the late Jay Sprague, Jr.  Joshua is survived by his sisters, Jessica Elstrom(Chris); brothers, Jay Sprague, III and Cameron Kessler(Brandy); nieces, Alianna, EmMarie, Isabel, Leslie and Mia; nephews, Lucas and Jaycub; Aunt and Uncle, Kim and Dale Mountain; grandfathers, Robert Adams and Jay Sprague, Sr; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. His high school friend and wife Megan Spizzirri, who he enjoyed hiking and kayaking with. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Andy Lucas; his best friend, Alizia; grandmother, Helen Adams; uncle, Steven Adams.  He attended Independence High School where he played football, he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he loved the outdoors, spending time at the beach and hiking in the mountains. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020, 11 a.m. at Littles Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
