Johnnie William Holland, Jr

Johnnie William Holland, Jr, 75, of Eclipse, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was the son of the late Johnnie William Holland Sr. and Carrie C Byrd Holland. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Claudia Taylor Holland; daughters, Tracy Lynn Holland Gramajo and Kristen Marie Holland Burgess (John); grandchildren, Athena, Tiago, Uriah, Jack and Ashby; sister, Ophelia Holland Crawford; and nephews, Rodney Casper (Demetra) and Ricky Casper.

Johnnie was a devoted husband to Claudia, a loving father to his two daughters, and a proud grandfather. His faith in Jesus was central to his life and guided the way he loved and cared for others.

Johnnie worked as an electronics technician for the U.S Government. In retirement, he found joy in simple pleasures-spending time with Claudia, dining at favorite restaurants, and exploring history through museums and travel, including Colonial Williamsburg.

He had a deep love for music and, in his younger years, enjoyed playing in a band. At home, he cherished time with is beloved cats, Simba and Bubba.

He will be remembered for his faith, his love of family, and the joy he found in music and everyday moments.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.
