John Paul Hensley

John Paul Hensley passed away in the comfort of his home February 15, 2026.

He was born May 5, 1951 in Stuttgart Germany to Paul and Agnes Melhus Hensley.

He was a car painter by trade and had many award-winning custom creations to his credit during his more than 35 years in the industry.

He is survived by his son Nash and his daughter-in-law Mina Hensley, his granddaughters Samantha Than-Melgar and Elise Hensley, his sister Susan and his brother-in-law Dan Kooi; sister-in-law Sueanne Doyer and his k-9 companion Charlie.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1:00pm at Little’s Funeral Home, 1515 South Church Street in Smithfield, Virginia.
