Joanne Johnson Nottingham

Joanne Johnson Nottingham of Carrollton, VA went to be with our Lord on Wednesday July 6, 2022, peacefully in her home by her husband’s side after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her son Peyton Nottingham, IV. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband Peyton Nottingham of 64 years, daughter Beverley Prillaman; son-in-law Paul “Bud” Prillaman, grandson Paul Prillaman, granddaughter Amanda Prillaman, great grandsons Paul and Page Prillaman, sister Saundra Bozeman, brother Raleigh Johnson, and many family members and friends. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022, 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Pam Jordan, 18214 Farmview Ln, Windsor, VA 23487.  Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
