JoAnn Blasingame

JoAnn Blasingame, 78, of Carrollton, VA completed her earthly journey on January 20, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Carl Lenchitsky and Margaret Engel Lenchitsky.  She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Doyle Blasingame; daughters, Kellie Webb (Tom), Margaret “Mitzie” Lawhead (Terry) and Amie Tindall (Damon); nephew, Patrick Usher (Stephanie); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katie, Katelyn, Sarah, Natalie, Douglas and Michael; and a brother, Terry Lenchitsky (Judy).  She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Sally Ann. JoAnn was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend.  She was an active member of the National Exchange Club and the Louisiana senior Olympics. She was a member of the Christ the King Church. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 315 Harris Grove Ln, Yorktown, VA 23692.  A reception will follow the service.  The family would like to express a special thank you to her caregivers, Cindy Webster and Presha.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to www.alz.org.
