Jane Oliver Bailey

Jane LaRue Oliver Bailey, 82, of Smithfield passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Jesse Vernon Oliver Sr, and Ruby Lee Temple Oliver. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband Henry Elton Bailey.  She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Bailey Brown (Marc); son, Henry Elton Bailey, Jr. (Tracy); grandchildren, Miranda (Josh), Ashley, Taylor, Emma and Parker; great granddaughter, Madeleine “Maddie” Ashley Kansler; and a brother, Raymond E. Oliver.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Norman Oliver and Jesse Vernon Oliver, Jr.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who loved her family.  She enjoyed the outdoors and her animals. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022, 3 p.m. at Whiteheads Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
